That more Filipinos consider and eventually decide on condominium living is a positive development. Living in a high-rise means higher population density per square meter of land. In turn, this leaves more space that can be devoted to other uses. Nature conservation efforts and agriculture, for instance, greatly benefit from the effective reduction of urban sprawl. While the conservative homeowner could argue that the living space of a condominium is limited, current trends in architecture and interior design provide an effective means of managing space.
